A Note About Safety

For science to be fun for all concerned, it has to be safe too. Most of our experiments and demonstrations are performed with everyday household items, but we recognise that even these can present hazards.

That’s why all of the

team are fully trained and tested in safety. In our actual hands-on demonstrations, kids can get to grips with equipment, mainly items developed especially for teaching science and passing the same rigorous tests required for toys. We don’t allow the children to touch – until the boffin says so.

Inter-active Hands on Parties

That being said, we provide as many hands-on experiments as possible in which they will be asked to act as an assistant to the presenter or work singularly or in groups to carry out tasks.
