My child had never had a science party before last year, or been to many children's science parties, being a quiet kid he doesn`t really like a fuss but I felt as it was his tenth birthday I should do something special for him. Having been learning science in school he was very interested in it and eager to learn more, this really surprised me how much he wanted to learn and was doing very well. So this inspired me for an idea for the party. As he had never had any children`s science parties before I decided to keep it rather small with his friends from school at our house, planning to have it in the large family room I found the organization easy. So like I mentioned earlier his interest in science encouraged me to look online for an entertainment company who do science tricks at children`s science parties. A friend mentioned it to me a while ago and I was intrigued then but when I found the website I was truly amazed. They come to your home or venue and undertake several experiments which wow the kids and they have great fun at the same time. So I instantly booked them and the rest of the planning was no problem, I gave the invites out the following week and it was all a great success. I even enjoyed the entertainment myself!
Throughout my two children growing up I have always organized the children`s parties for their birthdays, I always like to make a fuss of them on their birthday and organize some fun for them and their friends, after all children get very excited about their birthday and all the party planning will be completely out of my hands when it comes to their 18th birthdays! I have always felt it is important for the kids to have plenty of fun and get a lot out of life, and giving them the best of the best is something I make sure I do. So the children`s parties are packed with fun for both the kids and the adults and I try to make them different each year, with a different theme and varied forms of entertainment. I ensure lots of pictures are taken so when they both grow up they can look back and enjoy the memories.
I have always booked the entertainment online; the Childrens Science Parties usually take place in our local community centre where there is plenty of room and no restriction, so as you can imagine they have seen all sorts, from clowns to the most amazing circus acts the children are always wowed by the end. So I do the buffet myself just a small simple spread and like I have already said hire the entertainment online. I usually use the same DJ but use different companies depending on what entertainment I have planned. My son enjoyed very much his Childrens Science Parties last year... this year i hope to do much the same.
Kids parties are very popular in my daughters primary school and the parents put plenty of effort in to make their kids parties the best. Crazy I know, but we all do it. So there is a hidden competition going on between the parents of who can throw the best party for their child, on one has ever owned up to it but it`s very obvious what goes on. In the area we live in London there is a lot of wealth and both the adults and children show that. So with my child`s birthday coming up I feel a lot of pressure to throw a cram packed fun bash. Having looked online for inspiration I have plenty of ideas for the day.
I will be renting the function room at our local golf club, at a good size it will allow everyone to have space, and of course be enough room for the entertainment, which is essential here. However not having anything booked I searched online for unique entertainment for Kids Science Parties. It brought up all sorts and I was amazed. My husband spoken to the local DJ and he is willing to do that for us, I have also arranged for the caterers at the golf club to sort the whole buffet and hand made a special cake and now I have began to contact various entertainment businesses to discuss what we could have and the costs. It is very stressful organising Kids Science Parties but fingers crossed it will all go well.
